Functional Training (outdoor)

Capacity: 10Functional training is a very good add-on to running as it is full of functional movement that strengthens muscles. Working out using natural movements which comprehensively use all the muscles with emphasis on core is great for overall physique and stability. The outdoor functional training is interleaved by intervals of running- perfect if you train for an OCR.
Each training is different and the indoor and outdoor options are used according to the weather. Generally the outdoor training is March-November and we train indoors December-February.
Outdoor:
- 2-3 blocks of functional training with running in between (5-6 km max)
- exercising mostly with bodyweight
- plyometrics
- Core work (HSS)
Indoor:
- mostly strength training
- use of gym equipment: kettlebell, free weights, multipress, gymball…
- accompanied with cardio
- plyometrics
The training is suitable for almost everyone, however you need to be able to run at least 1,5 km at 6:30 min/km.
Capacity is limited. Make sure to book your spot!

Do you want to feel like the best marathoners in the world? Come to the Running Mall to try out the new revolutionary adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3 shoes. These are the shoes adidas equipped its runners for the Paris Games. They are free to borrow from us and you can run in them on our treadmills or during one of the training sessions. Choose a date from the calendar below and try on the shoes that will conquer Paris!
We have shoes from size 37.5 to size 46.5 for you to try.
You can also use the changing rooms and showers for free. Shoes can be rented for one hour on your ID card.
